Ignition miss.

Bill,have you ever seen a honda coil cause problems when driving in
rainy,damp weather? In one car I had,I had to completely cover coil
with a piece of an old motorcycle tube. this completely stopped the
missfire I was experiencing. Now,(another sedan),I'm having the same
thing happen. I'm presently using the coil setup you had posted last
month. My first thought was moisture on end were wires are sealed
in.

You might look at the screw on caps on the spark plugs. They might be
loose. I never experienced a misfire. You might also look at your breaker
plates, it may be loose. I have a cure for that in the Files section of the
Group page. Also, if you didn't peel back the core of the carbon core wires
at least a half inch and run it back up the side of the wire before sticking
it back into the coil there may be a bad connection.

when raining,and the humidity is around 95-100%. The sedan coil is
in a vulnerable spot,when driving in the rain. Dr. Rice.

Hi there Mr. Rice;
The coil has never been a cause of miss-fire on any of my cars. But
this is an electrical problem, I say it is in your points area, and most
likely the breaker plats are warn and need repairing.
