Bumpers - Re-chrome

Hi folks. Just thought I'd share some news with you if you are
interested. I had my N600 front and rear bumpers re-chromed by Central
Plating in El Monte California. Their phone is XXX-XXX-XXXX, website is

They did a FABULOUS job and the cost was FAR LESS than anyone else I could
find. I sent them my front bumper along with the two curved pieces that I
dismantled and the rear bumper along with the two curved pieces dismantled
(getting these things off and on is a real pain in the neck). The rear
curved pieces had been dented in and there was rust on most everything.
They came back looking so great. My particular cost was $223 plus shipping
to Massachusetts (which was $47). Dents removed and shinning like crazy.
You will work with April and Rosa who are very helpful. If you send them
pictures up front, they will give you estimates. My job ended up higher
when they finally received the parts as it is hard to tell from the
pictures (it was originally going to be in the $160 range), but they still
are far less expensive than anyone else I contacted (and I got a lot of
estimates).

THANKS Doug! This is very helpful information because I need to get
my rear bumper and some parts rechromed and I have been looking
around. References are always appreciated.
