On the subject of lug nuts; I believe it was a GEO Metro that had the same
thread and pitch 10mm X 1.5. There were a number of lugs that were for
after market applications for the Metro. For the rims that needed the
shouldered lugs Miles speaks of, there are inserts that can be put into the
mag wheel. But you lose 5 or 6 threads when changing them to a insert and
bolting them on.
Another way is to use the 12mm studs miles had a while back. Once in, there
are a whole world of lugs available.
