Hi Erik;
Miles gave me a hint a while back. Use an old speedometer cable (one end
frayed a bit after being broken off) and chuck the other end on a drill.
Feed it into the outlet side of the tank and all the crud is removed. Not
quite that simple but it works.
Then go to www.hirschauto.com and get some of the tank seal stuff they have.
It really works well.
