dumb question #3 - solenoid identification

While pondering my unwired engine and my Coupe wiring diagram, I see that
what I believe is the solenoid (mounted just above the starter motor) is
called the "magnetic starter switch" on the diagram. Please see the
attached picture to see how I believe this is wired, and confirm whether I
am right or wrong.
I would rather ask silly questions now, rather than botch it up and melt
something upon startup.
By the way, the engine is in the car. This picture is of the "old" engine,
sitting alongside - a good model. If I do this again I will be sure to
attach the battery cable BEFORE I mount the engine - it's in a bad spot to
work on now.

No, that is not correct. The terminal on the starter connects to the wire coming from the ignition switch.Should be a black wire w? a white stripe.
