I had the same thing happen with a plug in my '66 S600 Coupe
back in about 1970. It did come out with an easy out tool; however
if I recall, I broke at least one "easy" out in the process. A good
case for anti-seize compound used in aluminium heads today! Too
bad it wasn't used back when...
