Browsing through the coupe parts catalog, I came across the item "screen, oil pump filter" (#14 on page 1-16) . Is this a maintenance item? I do not see it on the maintenance schedule in the shop manual. It figures; I just changed the oil!

oil pump filter
Re: oil pump filter
This is just a screen at the bottom of the pump and keeps out the nut that may fall into the oil pan it's about the same size holes as a window screen if I remember right

Re: oil pump filter
Steve;
The only way your going to change out the screen on the bottom of the oil pump is by removing the clutch, drive chains cover along with the drive chains and dampening hubs. Then unbolt the pump and replace the screen. I would not call it a maintenance item.
