Hi,I'm pulling the engine out of the Z today. I plan on redoing the
axels while it is out. The tabs on the locking plates where the
connecting bolts go into the differential are shot.I can probably piece
together another set of 6 from the parts piles that I have, but would
like to know if anyone has or is using a lock washer in the place of
the plates. I am thinking that those thin pressed serrated type of
star washers will be what I go after. I am concerened because I don't
want to short any of the bolt length in the differential.
I am about to pull the clutch cover today to see if it is the seal only
or if the bearing is shot and allowing the clutch to move.
