Hi everyone!
I just picked up a mid 71 Honda N600 and 2 72 Z600s. I want to try and
get the N600 running asap as it was a driver 13 years ago before it sat.
The wiring is completely butchered.
I want to make an engine harness for it to see if the engine will run.
From what I can tell on the wiring diagram, I'm going to need:
-Voltage regulator wiring
-Diode/rectifier wiring (is this inside with the alternator?)
-Contact breaker (where are they?)
-Ignition coil
To see if it will run I'm just going to have a can of gas doing a
gravity feed on the carb.
Now this is where it gets iffy. 2 of these cars have a distributor
attached to the original timing adjustment plate left of the cam. They
also have an automotive coil, unlike the original coil that looks more
of a 2 cyl motorcycle setup.
This car was a driver, in fact the previous owner used to latch it on
to their RV and take it with them wherever they went.
My roommate and I have big plans to make 2 of these cars into similar
themed cars to drive and take to shows, so any and all help is welcomed!
Thanks,
Mario
