Cooling/Fresh air fan?

Post by lyletrudell »

I am starting to get all my parts together to get my coupe running again. I was looking through the parts catalog and noticed we have a heater fan motor/blower assembly. That's nice, but I live in Florida!
Where is the cool air fan???
I see a cold air vent knob, which is great when your moving at 60MPH.
How about a fan driven vent, when I am sitting in stopped traffic at 95 degree's?
Am I missing something?

I dont think your missing anything Lyle. All the vent knob does it let air in while your moving. You just need to get you one of those trucker fans.

Hi Lyle;
You missed the windows and rear side windows.  All of which help to move air through the car.

Hi Bill, so you are saying we have no cool air fan!
Can't wait until summer.
OK, how about if I take the hose off the heat exchanger and run it to the front grille. Then if I turn on the heater fan motor I will get outside temp air blowing on me.
?
Lyle
Bill, I messed up the pictures, under Lyle's Pop orange coupe. Can you fix or erase them.
Thanks

Bill, that's a good standard tool kit option for a Japanese car.
:)
I still might run the hose to the front grille, 95 degree air moving fast,is better than nothing.
I know A/C is not an option for a 36HP car.

Air conditioning showed to be an option on the Z360 in Japan.

You may have to do some insulating as the blower fan is so close to the exhaust and heater box, would probably preheat the air. There is however the Swampcooler A/C from the old days.
