Expanding the microcar empire

Post by Mark P Hatten »

To have many microcars means secure storage. New microcar storage barn repairs: Talk about a fire hazard ! The prior owners used a makeshift un-insulated and frayed scrap of solid wire romex as a extension cord routed thru the dryer exhaust duct outside the house unprotected and exposed under a metal skid plate into a metal clad siding sharp hole to power the garage. That was scary ! Here I am making a big mess to fix the old mess and bring it up to code.

Hi Mark,
You mentioned you were trying to keep the electrical wiring "to code".  I think you need to be 2 feet or more underground when you go between your shop and the house.
