Cam Chain Tentioner needed!!!!

Rumor has it ....I heard someone is planning reproducing these very soon,
was it Steve Allen or Dr. Bruce ?

I need a Cam Chain Tentioner for a 1970 N600. Does anyone have one for sale? Nos or used if it is in good condition. The one that came out of the engine I am rebuilding has a chewed up roller. (14500-568-0000)

yes Mark, I've been rebuilding these. I use an old tensioner arm and fit it with a new wheel and bearing. The new wheel is made from a better, longer lasting plastic.
I'll send you some pictures if you like. I usually sell them for $150 including the shipping.

We'd love to see pictures. These have been needed as a Honda 600 staple a long time .

In this picture, you can see that I still use the old oiler fitting so that the new bearing still gets properly oiled for long life:

I installed one of these in my own engine a couple years ago. When I opened it up a few weeks ago, the tensioner wheel still looked just like new except for a little discoloration from the oil.
