Elliot;
Your cam has been ground for performance. What you have are lash caps.
Take one to a machinist and ask if they can find some for you. Take the best one you have as they will have to measure it to give you the right ones for your cam adjustments.

Re: [2cylinderhondas] Valve stem caps?
Mark;
There was a shop in Seattle area that was doing camshafts, lash caps and hard chrome on the rocker arms.
They wouldn’t do the rocker arm shafts.
But, because the adjustment for the rocker arms is so small and most rocker arm shafts and bearing race in the cam box are normally not replaced just because there are none available.
Unless the grind includes building up the cam lobe before grinding, any grinding will require lash caps to replace the material removed from the bottom side of each lobe. Otherwise all adjustment for the rocker arms will be lost.
What was done to Elliot's engine was very popular in the 70's to give these engines more pep. And like Elliot said, there was minimal wear on the rocker arm. It also made for a much quieter running engine.
I still have one of the camshafts with a fresh grind (never used) but not the lash caps or rocker arms.
