Enough;
The red lighted button on the dash is a test to see if the brake failure light works. If it stays on there is no pressure in a part of the system. Or the sender on the side of the Master Cylinder is bad. If you have good brakes then it may be the sender. It's all right there in the first section of the owners manual page 23 for the Sedan.

Just FYI, I checked the master cylinder and it was really low on fluid. This would explain the light. I filled it up to the MAX line and it didn't come on, for the most part. It did come one twice while braking, which leads me tobelieve that I might have a leak in my braking system somewhere.
But hey, at least now I know the red light is a BAD thing :P

Hi Matt;
Try bleeding the brakes - and rule of thumb, do it slowly. Pumping only agitates the fluid causing bubbles and then you will have a weak peddle.

Matt,
Look at each wheel and see if you have brake fluid on any of them. If so, you need to rebuild or replace the particular cylinder or caliper. If you see no signs of a leak (you may have to pull the drum off the backs if it is just starting). then your brake booster is probably sucking the fluid out. That's what mine was doing. So look a month or so back at the messages. I suggest removing a leaky booster rather than spending 300 to 500 to fix it. (And I still think my brakes are now much better without the booster).
You will find that the front cylinders can "freeze up" and not move but rarely leak or require rebuilding. Now on the other hand, the back cylinders are notorious for leaking (and super easy to fix).
