The red lighted button on the dash is a test to see if the brake failure light works. If it stays on there is no pressure in a part of the system. Or the sender on the side of the Master Cylinder is bad. If you have good brakes then it may be the sender. It's all right there in the first section of the owners manual page 23 for the Sedan.
