Column mounted ignitions switch removal.

Hi folks!  I have a 71n600 with a column mounted igintion switch that I need to remove to have a key made.  Anyone have any tips?  It looks as if the factory used screws with break away heads to install.

Paul, take the steering column out.  It's not that hard to do.  Some people have busted the steering wheel lock and mount a switch in the dash, but that's the easy way out.

I think the steering lock is already busted.  No key but the steering wheel turns freely.

I have removed a lot of these by making a slot in the bolt with a small chissel. The bolts are not very tight, and are loosened by the hammering.
