Ok Brad, for one, in the early 50's an number of vehicles built world wide had a negative ground.   Most had 6 volt systems and many were built right here in the good old USA.

The negative ground wire runs from the negative battery terminal to the Honda 600 body (the bolt is also use to attach the coil) and then to the cam box (passenger side of the engine) bolt.  It must be attached to both the engine and the body.   If you use one of the shroud bolts when attaching it to the engine, make sure it has a metal sleeve inside the rubber grommet so there is metal to metal contact.  Page 57 of the Coupe supplement shop manual has a picture of the cable.  Make sure all surfaces are clean of paint and corrosion for a good connection.

I think you meant positive ground as most cars made in the USA had positive ground until the late 40's to early 50's. Basically once the industry started converting to 12 volts they converted to negative ground.

Contrary to the ad, it may be a factory ragtop (plastic panels instead of cloth headliner).  Price is excellent.  Sacto owners go check it out and tell us more.  IMHO this is the rarest of USA import models (after the automatic).

I called on this a few weeks ago, and the owner thought it was an aftermarket/cloth thing.. not saying it's a bad deal, but I turned away from it because of the top that "uses snaps to close." Sounded sketchy to me, but maybe good for someone else.. owner was a nice guy- maybe worth looking into if you're in the area..

Right you are.   The real deal is a slider with a latch (same as interior door).  Many years ago I went after a ragtop in North Highlands, that unfortunately had been wrecked, without hope of revival, yet the owner still wanted megabucks.
